Isle of Man Scooter Rally - Booking Details.

I called in to Barry Turners yesterday to pick up some scooter spares, while I was there I also picked up the information fliers for the Isle of Man rally in July, so I am posting it on here for everyone's information.

The only change as far as I know is that The Castle Mona Hotel has now gone into receivership so you will therefore not be able to book rooms there and the evening entertainment will not be held there now, but Barry is sorting out a new venue for this.

Northern Aces - Chester Rally

Just found out about this one, The Northern Aces S.C. will be holding a scooter rally at Chester Rugby Club, over the week-end of the 27th to 29th of July, which is the same week-end as the North Wales Scooter-Fest, the following is an announcement from The Welsh Scooter-Scene Forum. It appears that there is now some friction between North Wales scooterists and the Scooter- Fest event organisers, with many scooterists now threatening to boycott the event. So maybe a Saturday run out to Boddelwyyden and a local Sunday ride in Chester might now be on the cards, when I find out more information I will post it on here.

'We are holding a Rally At Chester Rugby Club 27-29 Jul 2007.£10 entry including:- Camping ,showers, a couple of bands, custom show, late (if not all)night food stalls. It's gonna be a pretty basic affair , but by holding it in Chester it means B&B,s are abundant for the softies. The all day drinkers get a city centre to pub crawl & the tourists get to see lots of roman stuff.Yes I know it's in england, we are a border club and have a dozen members that cross over into gods country to wear our colours with pride. So out of respect for them I totally supported the venue choice(much to they're surprise) simply because of the amenities we can offer to people.Does this mean we are no longer supporting scooterfest? too right! Most of the events at scooterfest are on sunday afternoon, which is about as much use as a square wheel to most scooterists. There is a list of things, but i'm not looking to list them here as it's a public forum.Suffice to say this is an event run by scooterists for scooterists with no members of the NASC making personal financial gain. As soon as I get a flier I'll post it on the site.Ride safeDaz'

Here is the official flier for the event - click on the image below.
