North Staffs Jesters Scooter Fest 9 - Sun 19th May
It's the North Staffs Jesters Scooter Fest 9 at Leek on Sunday. It's always a great day out with a good parts fair, custom show and entertainment and the weather forecast looks a lot better than we've had recently. Not sure who's planning to go, but suggest meeting at Clubbies around 10, for a 10:15 departure.

Sunday 12th May NWBA Petrolheads to River Dee Chester
This was the first rideout a couple of years ago which kick-started off the North Wales & Borders Alliance. Last years event had 178 scooters starting from Petrolheads.
The rideout will leave Petrolheads cafe Bagillt at 12.30pm PROMPT. The route this year has changed slightly, travelling through Flint on the A548, over the Flintshire bridge onto Deeside ind estate. Then along Sealand road into Chester. Turn right towards the courts along Nicholas Way, taking 1st left at the Grosvenor roundabout along Grosvenor Street. Turning right onto Souters Lane and down to Groves along the River Dee. Any volunteers for marshals would be appreciated.

North Wales Nomads, Into the Valley 7, Sun 28th Apr
Those going on the Nomads Into the Valley rideout this Sunday should head for Petrolheads cafe in Bagillt for a 12 noon departure to the Pen Y Bont in Abergele - rideout to Betws-Y-Coed leaves there at 1pm.

St Davids Day Rideout - Sunday 3rd March
St David's day rideout to Great Orme Llandudno, hosted by HeadBangors SC. This is the first North Wales & Border Alliance rideout for 2013.
For those coming from the East leaving Petrolheads cafe Bagillt 10.15am prompt. Riding along the coat road A548 through Prestatyn, Rhyl prom, Abergele, Llandullas and Old Colwyn turn right at The Royal pub Colwyn Bay onto Sea view Road then left into Ivy Street car park. (Last year lots missed the turning) Meeting up with HeadBangors and other clubs approx 11.15am.
Leaving car park approx 11.30am towards Colwyn bay pier, Rhos on sea into Llandudno. Along the Orme and back towards the pier, whereby The Esplanade hotel along the prom has kindly given permission to use the rear car park and offers a warm welcome to scooter riders should you want to get a drink or meal etc.

Blast from the Past
I have received an email from Alan Love wondering if any of our members remember him from his scooter days in Chester around the years '71to '75. He was involved with Cloud 9 and mentions the Ant Hill mob ? He is hoping someone may have a photo from that time with him on it .I can pass on his email if anyone wants to make contact .Dave.
