What cracking weather we had for our first club outing of 2007,with thirteen scooters leaving Clubbies for the ride to Lowton .No breakdowns, nobody lost enroute,we actually arrived with time to spare at the leisure center .This must be some kind of a record for Chester s.c. !! The ride from Lowton to the childrens hospital was the usual clutch hammering ,traffic dodging twelve miles that takes about an hour and a half but the mass of scooters at the end is worth seeing .Eric had a good idea after we dropped off the eggs ,a cafe 200yds up the road ,tables in the sun ,roll on global warming if every egg run will be this good !Erics second good idea of the day was to drop straight onto the East Lancs road and do the return journey in 20 mins back to Lowton . After a quick look round it was off home ,tea ,shower,and down to Saltney Social Club for " Dancin"Dave Buckleys cancer charity do .It was packed,even some of the regulars had difficulty getting tickets,as usual more people seem to dance to the disco than to the live band ,but the New Age Jam were good and at a fiver a ticket it was great value .Asusual in these places the que for the bar was awfull,most of us buying two at a time but that was avery small part of a really good night watching a live band ,you cant beat it .Well done Dave Buckley and helpers . more phots of the egg run will appear as soon as I learn how to navigate the blog site ! Nice post dave, I like the photo too, it's nice to see Eric around again. You were really lucky with the weather on the day as well, I heard the full story from Adam, Bernie and Geoff on Tuesday night.
