Just loading up the photos from today's run, nice to see a few faces that I haven't seen for a while, including Adam released from baby duties for the day, Darren with a fresh saudi suntan and Karl Ceplis riding a scooter instead of showing one. Well done to all who turned out and I'm sure The Countess Children's ward were very grateful for all the presents donated by the scooterists.
Sorry some of the images seem a little out of focus, it's those darn scooters they just move so fast !!

dave im glad you mentioned darren knowles,s saudi sun tan i thought he,d just gone rusty with all the rain we,ve had lol and he looked like the char waller off it aint half hot mum (only kidding daz)

We'd like to say a big "THANK YOU" to everyone involved with the Countess Christmas Present Run 2008.
Our 3yr old daughter Ellen was in the childrens ward high dependency unit when you called. Thankfully, she is making a good recovery. Your kind gifts really cheered her up and i'm sure the same can be said for all the other children on the ward.
Ive just seen the pics of the run -gotta say, you have some beautiful machines. I can appreciate the effort that goes into them.
We're American car fans (we have a '78 Pontiac Trans Am) but we share the same pleasures as you guys - the rides out to events and the tinkering and polishing.
Anyway, thanks again. We hope you all have a Happy Christmas and Safe Scootering in 2009 :)

Simon, Thanks for the comments, it's really nice to get some feedback like this as you never really get to hear if the kids liked the visit or the presents. I'm glad Ellen is making a good recovery and Chester Scooter Club wish you and your family a Happy Christmas and New Year.
