Hi All,
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has supported our production in any
way, shape or form – allowing pupils out of lessons, helping on one or
both nights, coming to see the show, praising the cast! It was a huge
success!
Cheers

FOR SALE

Right here we go big George Randells is selling his Lambretta GP 150 Italian H reg its an original UK bike because it has the battery tray with a 125 cc engine so its learner legal it is also Regestered as a 125 with DVLA but it has a AF 175 cc top end so it picks its feet up and keeps up with the traffic
so if anyone knows of someone looking for a scooter its taxed and tested and ready to ride for the summer he,s asked me to put it on here first so it could stay local but if needs be he will put it on EVIL BAY and make a small fortune to add to his already bulging bank account any questions regarding the scooter or his bank account give him a ring on 07760106095...... ps ride safe and see you all in Llandudno at the weekend.

Quadrophenia in Blacon

We have had a request from Ade and Lisa to support a production of Quadrophenia that the students of Blacon High School are staging on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th April (next week). What they would like is for club members to arrive on their scooters just before the performance on the Tuesday night and hang around while the guests arrive .Anyone wanting to see the show is welcome .They would also like to have a scooter to put on the stage while the performance is on ,thats for both nights (it can be stored on the premises overnight if reqd.). George and Elvis have already offered scooters for the static display . This sounds like a job for Wilf and his mirrors to me !!Start time is yet to be confirmed with Lisa for Tuesday night on 07704 385807. Anyone who is local and could pop down for 15mins or so on their way to Clubbies would be very welcome . Dave .

Llandudno Welsh national Scooter Rally

It was decided at the club meeting last night to go with Andy (nico's) idea to meet at Clubbies (Grosvenor Arms,Handbridge )at 10.15 Saturday morning, leaving at 10.30 Prompt! for the ride to Llandudno. We are picking up members along the route at Saltney (!!?),St Davids Park ,Ewloe and Halfway house pub at Carmel,nr.Holywell,so this is why we need to leave spot on 10.30.We wont use the A55 section that forbids Learners so anyone is welcome to tag along .Bring your waterproofs as the forecast is not great .See you all Saturday ,Dave .

Great Turn Out For The Easter Bunny Run

Thanks to everyone that turned out to support our Bunny Run to The Countess Hospital, an unofficial count was 96 scooters and other two wheeled vehicles leaving Clubbies. There were riders who had travelled from Rhuddlan, Southport and New Brighton as well as many other places in the north west. Also a big thanks for all the Easter Egg donations not only by local riders but by the local Chester businesses, there were enough eggs to fill a complete child's cot with the sides up and a bed. Thanks to everyone who bought raffle tickets, I'm not sure which charity will benefit, but I guess it will be one of Pat's from The Grosvenor.
And of course a big thank you to Pat and Andy at Clubbies for supporting the Scooter Club and providing the sandwiches after the run.

P.S. If anyone has any photos you can send them to me at gfox@freeuk.com and I will load them up (as my camera packed up after one shot)

Graham.

great turnout for the annual Egg Run .Pat had opened up early for bacon butties and coffee as promised ,Frank Heath and co.from Wrexham s.c. turned up promptly to take full advantage of butties at only £1 each !The sunny morning brought clubs from as far afield as Bolton and Southport.Special mention to Vic who had ridden down from Southport with a couple of his mates,on his auto .He is now 81 years young and recovering from a recent stroke! To do forty miles each way on a cold day ,he's an example to all of us ,Ride safe old scooter buddy !
The generosity of people gets better every year with the egg donations ,special mention this time to Chester Exhaust Supplies for their massive contribution ,some of which will go to local charities other than the Countess Hospital .Thanks to all the clubs and individual riders who came and without whom it would be a poor event .I hope most of you can find yourselves on the photos some havent turned out quite right with a bit of "ghosting " on some of the prints ,for this I apologise !
