Yes was at that rally,went on my yellow rally 200, me and my mate Davis on the back and my mate Mark on his brand new p200 running in! Took us 12 hours riding through the night to get there! Unforgettable
A long way to go in those days with no back up or recovery .How old would the Rally be then Bern ?
The lack of back up or recovery was cancelled out by the naivety (stupidity) of youth...
Recovery was not needed , it was a new Vespa not Lambretta !
My Rally was R reg 1976? Had a back wheel "blow out" after only 20 miles,ripped trousers,gashed leg lots of sparks of the chrome Florida bars,got me trousers stitched up once we got to Southend ,,AA,RAC,,not on the menu some runs we had a back up van,,the flying wasps got us there and back,,,
