Now time to go through Saturday, the main day of the rally.
11am gathering at TT grandstand being ready to ride at 12 midday. There is a petrol station just down the hill 300 metres away so a full tank is preferable.
I will have a table set up with a few essentials which will be Oil, Plugs, Bulbs, Main Jets, Fuel Pipe, CDI's and a few other things.
If you could get ready to ride at 11.55 because we need to leave as close knit as possible to minimise the road junctions we will be blocking with 400 scooters.The route will be marshalled by the members of the local scooter clubs, so if you get chance please give them a wave.
There are no stop offs until we reach The Vagabonds rugby club after about 35 miles. This is a fantastic spacious venue in the grounds of Noble's Hospital area. Here there will be a bar, food laid on and scooter music playing.
There is a huge parking area and this is where the ridden custom show will be judged.
If you want your scooter to be considered for 1 of the 13 trophies please remain at the venue for at least 2 hours. With so many quality scooters it takes a long time for the judges to reach their decisions.If you are chosen as a prize winner a card will be attached to your scooter telling you what catergory you have won.
Saturday evening at The Villa Marina theatre.
Doors open from 7pm. Dj's playing up to 10pm when live band The Cheats will take centre stage. Trophy presentation will take place at about 10.45pm after the band's first set. Back to The Cheats and then the Dj's through to a late finish with a 2am bar.
