After the club meet on Tuesday night, it was decided for all the club members who are going to The Isle of Man to meet up at The Grosvenor pub on Friday morning the 6th July at 8-30am. This seems very early but all scooterists have to book into the ferry teminal by 10-30am at the latest on Friday, so we want to make sure that there is a margin of time for latecomers and dare I say it without tempting fate the 'B' word, if anyone was to have problems between Chester and Liverpool. Can everyone please check over their scooter's during next week looking at all the basics, wheel nuts tight, tyre condition and air pressure OK, cables all working, exhaust all tight and paintwork polished of course !!
We intend to go up the A41 through Bromborough and through the old tunnel and take the docks turn off, to bring us out by the Liver Building.
Please remember to bring:-
Ferry and Hotel Bookings,
Full tank of petrol - N.B. No petrol cans are allowed on ferry,
Two stroke oil,
Any scooter spares you might need,
Your Chester Scooter Club Banner,
Suitable riding gear if the weather is wet.

Well done Gray ! can you put all the heavy weapons like flywheel holding tool ,pullers various, all the big spanners ,in fact everything we need to build a lambretta ,in the boot of Nikkis car ,that is Ipresume shes taking one over ? If not I will jetison some clothing in aid of tooling (cant be a real mod with an attitude like that ,can I ? !! )
Sorry Dave, Nicky and Lucy are going as foot passengers, I didn't think it was worth taking the car for 2 days and the train is so easy to from Chester to Liverpool so sadly there won't be room for all the pullers and spanners in the case, it's a good idea though !!!
