A nice turn out of 9 scooters at clubbies on a cold but dry day for a little run up to The Tap pub at Eastham Ferry. For once we were early leaving and arrived at 12-45 at the Tap, just before the liverpool lads so we got served with the drinks and toasties just in time. When everyone had arrived there was an excellent total turnout of at least 50 scooters, which on a cold winters day was pretty good going.
Andy Nico had mechanical problems on the way back, but with Vespa Rally super mechanic Bernie Griffiths on hand, who was assisted by his two apprentices Graham and Andy Swarb, we managed to get a new clutch cable fitted and working in no time, good job you were carrying a spare one Andy !!! All in all it was a very nice new year run to knock off the cobwebs and get back into the saddle.

Cheers to you all for turning round & helping me out with the clutch cable. Thanks to Dr Bernard as it's changing gear loads better than it ever did!A good,but cold,day.
Gents and Ladies (Tracy and Helen) many thanks for the run down to the Tap today, it's always good to ride along with someone who knows where they are going!!!!!
